When hurricanes hit Alabama in 2019-2020 and caused widespread damage, 5 Star Roofing & Restoration received more phone calls than it could handle.
There simply were not enough people to send onsite to provide quotes for repair. Every roofing company in the region had a 6-to-12-week turnaround time. Meanwhile, homeowners were stuck waiting in homes with significant damage. Rob Cooper, CEO of 5 Star and a long-time roofer, decided that was not good enough. People deserved better. What if a quote could be provided without sending someone onsite? What if you could buy a roof and schedule installation online? There had to be a better way.
